Located just three doors down from a dog-friendly beach, it was ideal for families and our furry friend. Mornings began with peaceful beach walks, creating a lovely rhythm for the day. The property itself, while older, made great use of space. Each room was spacious, comfortably accommodating our group and equipped with essential amenities, such as an electric kettle, cookware, and even Netflix-which we enjoyed on a rainy evening. The sizable backyard was a hit with our dog, thanks to the pet-friendly setup and a handy dog door. While the accommodation is not the epitome of luxury, it does strike a valuable balance for families seeking budget-friendly options. With heating and air conditioning to keep us comfortable and free Wi-Fi for my writing needs, it ticked many boxes. the proximity to local attractions, like Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, made it a convenient base. I left feeling that Abbey Beach Shack is a savvy choice for those looking to blend comfort and value on their travels.
